Rothwell kicked off with only 10 men after Royston where
unwilling to budge over an additional player from the Garforth team. Playing
into the wind half time came with a score of 3-1. A fine goal again from Harry
was the only reward for a really good half in which Rothwell worked really hard
despite having a man less. The second half was bound to catch up on the 10 men
but that was not the case as Rothwell were the better team, playing most of the
football in Roystons half. Royston got 2 break away goals but Rothwell never
gave up and got a goal back through Ryan who had a great second half.

Man of the match picked by the lads was Ryan. However, it
was fair to say that it was a great team effort with every player really doing
everything asked of them.
