A fine footballing effort today across the squad heralding a glorious début for George. Maximum commitment saw maximum gain as the boys had a rare opportunity to push for their places with the advent of an
ability to use substitutions. What was asked was given with heads and hearts as Town took the game to the opposition. The ball was won and pushed forward with a flurry of intelligent passes that ripped the life out of hearty Hemsworth eleven. Attacking play was always followed up and tracking back became less of an issue as midfield begin to realise their potential!
Performance levels were high right through the team but special mention must go Rhys, Harry, Ryan and Dan who all demonstrated individual flair and ability at key moments in the game. Charles for a couple
of brave headers and Seamus showing a stoic approach to defensive duties. M O M goes to Dom for a hard won hat-trick!
